Amy is a native East Texan, originally from Sulphur Springs although she spent over two decades in far West Texas – El Paso. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Marketing and has experience in marketing research and promotional fulfillment services. Amy worked as schoolteacher and a real estate agent when her children were young, eventually earning her broker’s license and owning her own agency with agents specializing in the sale of FHA and VA foreclosures. She later worked for an international elevator company, selling new construction, modernization, repair and service, and subsequently managing the El Paso branch.
When Amy’s East Texas roots called her home, she began working for The University of Texas at Tyler, assisting in the startup of the Graduate Advising Office for the College of Business and Technology. Amy now serves as the Career Success Coach for Soules College of Business and is passionate about connecting two things: students with employers, and clients with their dream homes. She is a member of the Greater Tyler Area of Realtors, and in her spare time Amy likes to help with “UNITE” College Ministry of her church and visit her children and grandchildren as much as possible.
